The Alliant Energy Dealer Network is comprised of contractors (dealers) who sign up to participate in Alliant Energy’s energy efficiency programs. This campaign was aimed at keeping this group of dealers engaged while providing them benefits beyond the typical financial incentives. Tactics included a mix of email and direct mail, which utilized a “levels” system to encourage participation and email newsletters to provide relevant information. Since implementing this campaign, dealers have shown increased engagement levels, and the 11% email newsletter clickthrough rate is more than double the industry average.
